The tasting venue is a modern facility where, besides taking the opportunity to sample and purchase Kanonkop wines, you can also watch a video about growing vines and making wine on our farm.

Portraits remind you of the iconic figures: JW Sauer, Paul Sauer, Mary Krige and Jannie Krige.

There is also a line of bottles of Paul Sauer ranging from the standard 750 millilitres to the 18-litre Mandelazar (as it is known on Kanonkop). If you are interested in geography and geology, the display showcasing the various types of soil found on the farm is worth examining. The bronze bust of Paul Sauer lends a sense of gravitas to the venue.

We also have a gift shop with a selection of clothing, art and souvenirs available for purchase.

If you want to know much more about the history, the terroir and the wines, you may prefer a private tasting.
