As more visitors arrive with a deeper understanding of wine, many choose to engage more meaningfully with the estate and our wines. 

Guests are invited to explore Kanonkop beyond the glass. Learning about the unique Kanonkop soils , our climate, our wine-making philosophy, and viticultural decisions that shape every vintage.

Depending on group size and availability, private tastings are hosted in one of three venues within the maturation cellar: the Kanonkop Art Gallery, “Die Klaskamer” (The Classroom), or “Die Glaskas” (The Glass Box). Each space offers a distinct atmosphere while allowing for focused, guided tastings.

For the truly devoted wine enthusiast, these experiences are led by our knowledgeable team, who share the subtleties, structure, and complexity of each wine, offering insight into both its character today and its potential for the future.
