Kadette Cape Blend 2018 is one of Wine Spectator’s 9 Delicious Wines for Thanksgiving

Kadette Cape Blend & Thanksgiving is only a week away!

While festivities might be different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy great wine alongside turkey, sweet potatoes, pies and all our other favorites.

This week, Wine Spectator‘s editors have selected some wines ideal for enhancing your holiday dinner—there’s something for everyone to be thankful for, and thankfully there is Kanonkop Kadette Cape Blend 2018!

Wine Spectator’s review of the Kadette Cape Blend 2018:

The Kadette Cape Blend 2018 is a terrific introduction to the winery’s reds. It is made with purchased fruit, vinified in cement tanks and matured in used barriques for 12 months. The result is a pure and juicy wine with elegance that’s perfect for turkey. It also has enough structure to be paired with heavier side dishes. A pure, well-crafted red, with notes of stewed plum and mulberry accented by notes of vanilla and cardamom. Shows both density and elegance, with a slightly chewy tannic structure on the well-defined finish. Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2024. 3,793 cases imported.—Aleks Zecevic

Score: 89 | $18
